HOPE UNITED BRAND/LOGO/CONTENT

Hope United Project for LC Website.png

Great intentions aren’t enough when beginning a new organization, for profit or not-for-profit.

Hope United leaders understood that and engaged Longcrier Communications to help fine-tune their new nonprofit’s brand promise.

That work informed the logo design and style guide, as well as content in the form of a presentation and brochure to engage donors and volunteers.

OKAGE website

Longcrier Communications is proud to continue its ongoing relationship with The Oklahoma Alliance for Geographic Education (OKAGE) on a 2017 project to develop a fund development strategy for the nonprofit. This work follows a project to build a new website. Phase one of the website was completed in the fall of 2015 at OKAGEweb.org. Since then additional pages and features have been added, including those for donations and sponsorships. OKAGE staff have added content, also. The scope of the website build project included the following:

  • conduct online survey of all users

  • build website requirements and note those for later development

  • identify existing and creating new content

  • provide client with host/server options

  • provide client with online payment options

  • build website

  • test website

  • develop processes for content organization, event registration, online payments

  • train OKAGE staff for ongoing content management

OKAGE is a wonderful nonprofit, statewide partnership between collegiate and preK-12 teachers and geography, business and agency professionals. It is part of the National Geographic Network of Alliances for Geographic Education and with its Teacher Consultants provides educators with development opportunities, academic networking, model programs, innovative teaching strategies and classroom materials.

Brand, Logo, Website for Sottong Design Studio

Starting a new business as a sole proprietor can be overwhelming. In the fall of 2017, Longcrier Communications was proud to deliver on the dreams of Michael Sottong, forming his own landscape design company for public places. The scope of the project included definition of the company brand, selection of a company name, creation of a logo that reflected that brand (in partnership with graphic design partners Liquid Media), a company domain email account, and a website to highlight company experience, services and project work, including those recognized by peers as award-winning.

Planning and execution for skyline urban ministry

Skyline Urban Ministry continues to grow its services to impact lives, empower persons in need and address the roots of poverty in Oklahoma.

In the first quarter of 2017, Longcrier Communications provided strategic plans for the ministry's overall integrated communications, as well as for individual channels, including its website, Facebook and emailed newsletter. A detailed plan for website updates to improve the user experience and content and a template for a communications editorial calendar provided staff with the tools they needed to execute.
